Off-Site Demonstration Areas

The Center's planners are designing guided and self-guided driving tours to wetlands demonstration sites located throughout the Chase Lake region. Visitors will have a chance to meet and spend time with farmers and ranchers to learn about agriculture in the prairie wetlands region. The tours will provide visitors with a wide range of experiences in managing, protecting and restoring wetlands on private and public lands.

They will take guest to the Chase Lake National Refuge to witness one of North America's most diverse populations of migratory waterfowl.

Sponsors are needed to fund road construction, interpretive signs and materials, pull-offs and parking areas, pathways, wetland protection and restoration measures, interpretive staff and site maintenance.
